Do you provide IT support for cloud accounting software?
Yes, we are experts in installing, running and maintaining all accounting software, both cloud and desktop based. This includes mainstream applications such as Sage, IRIS, CCH, BrightPay, Digita, Virtual Cabinet and TaxCalc, as well as more recent entrants like Xero, FYI Docs and Paperless.
We also have extensive experience in being able to troubleshoot high-level application issues, especially if it’s related to slow performance or database issues.
Can your IT team help with IT updates?
We work very closely with software vendors and clients alike, to ensure critical updates are applied in a timely manner, but in a way that doesn’t create any downtime.
We also apply this same philosophy to Microsoft and anti-virus updates, ensuring your systems are always up to date and not vulnerable to any zero-day attacks.
Can your team help setup or IT equipment and software?
Yes, if you have a new PC or laptop that needs to connect to your company’s hosted desktop environment, we can remote login to that machine and help set it up in no time. The same is true for other office devices such as printers, scanners and webcams.
We can also help with the installation of third party software such as Zoom and Notion.
We don’t formally provide support for on-site infrastructure such as telephones, routers and firewalls (this is usually looked after by your VoIP and broadband provider) but if you do have a problem with anything at all, we will always do our best to help you out, even if it’s for something we don’t formally support.
What support hours does your team provide?
For customer support queries, our technical engineers on our service desk are available Monday to Friday 8am to 8:30pm and on Saturday and Sunday between 8am and 12pm. Outside of these core hours, we have an out-of-hours support team that will respond to urgent requests 24/7.
During January (the busiest time for our accountant practice clients), we extend our core support hours at the weekend to be between 8am and 6pm.
What cyber security do you provide for the accountancy sector?
We provide cutting edge anti-malware and antivirus solutions to all our clients through enterprise grade Palo Alto firewalls, ProofPoint email detection and Duo Two-Factor Authentication.
